Send City Hall A Message: Not One Dime Of Our Money For A Stadium.
City Hall is broken. While our neighborhoods’ urgent needs go unmet, City Hall debates whether to subsidize a billion dollar football stadium with our tax dollars.
The City’s original plan called for over $350 million dollars for a new stadium in Mission Valley. The latest proposal is for a downtown stadium estimated at a total cost of $1.8 billion. All this, while we’re still paying off Qualcomm!
CITY HALL: Our Neighborhoods Stand United Against Your Stadium Giveaway.
We believe we should invest in making our neighborhoods better places to live, work and raise family. We believe its time for our neighborhoods to get their fair share. We believe City Hall needs to focus on the priorities that impact working people’s daily lives.
CITY HALL: Invest In Our Neighborhoods, Not Stadiums.
Our neighborhoods need street repair, not stadiums. Fix the potholes!
Our kids need libraries, not luxury boxes. Keep the libraries open!
Working people deserve traffic improvements and more public transit, not taxpayer funded tailgating. More public transit now!
We can have strong neighborhoods, solid city services and good jobs for working people. But we need to stop the Stadium Giveaway and fight for our communities’ fair share.
CITY HALL: Stop the Stadium Giveaway And Put Our Neighborhoods First.
Take a stand with me to stop wasting our tax dollars on a Stadium Plan. Our communities are not getting their fair share, and the Mayor is focused on a Chargers Stadium.
This must stop.
Stand with me and sign this pledge now!
